We all know you need to eat right, sleep right and exercise right. But without any guidelines and specific tasks, how do we know what to do and how to do it? Here at United Medical Credit, we believe your general health is important and you should be feeling good mentally, spiritually and physically. Synergy is important when developing a healthy lifestyle. So, here are a few tips:

  • Always eat a hefty breakfast – You need to fill your stomach in the morning to give you lasting energy throughout the day. There’s no better way to start your day than with a cup of milk and a side of eggs!
  • Eat 5 meals a day – When you eat multiple meals a day, you keep your metabolism going and create a body that’s constantly burning calories throughout the day. You also keep yourself full so you don’t horde food in your mouth when you do sit down for one of your meals!
  • Exercise at least 3 times a week – At United Medical Credit we make it our mission to stay healthy! Exercising regularly is part of that. You can try to exercise in the morning if you have time or take some time off after work. If your gym has a dry sauna or steam room, go ahead and relax after a heavy work out in your gym’s facilities and sweat out all of those toxins!
  • Balance what you eat – You should never eat too much of the same thing. Too many eggs can cause high cholesterol, too many vegetables can give you a stomach ache and too much coffee can keep you wired all night. Make sure to consume a lot of different things. At United Medical Credit, we like to eat nuts, seeds, vegetables, meats, oats and more!
  • Spend time with your family and friends – Your mental health is just as important as your physical health. Spending time with the one’s you love  nourishes our basic human need of love and being accepted. Laugh a little 🙂
  • Stop, have fun – Don’t forget to take a step back in the middle of the day and just have fun. Work is stressful for everyone these days and you can’t forget to enjoy yourself in the office or at home.
